Content Policy
This Content Policy explains the standards for material submitted to the Auto Lineage platform operated by Auto Lineage LLC ("Auto Lineage," "we," "our," or "the platform").

Purpose
Auto Lineage exists to create persistent digital identities for culturally significant vehicles by preserving their documented history in a structured, credible, and durable way. Content submitted to the platform should support that purpose.
Allowed Content
Users may submit vehicle-related content including vehicle information, Lineage entries, event participation, ownership history, milestones, modifications, restorations, awards, photographs, videos, documents, reference links, and Collection details, provided the content is relevant to the vehicle record and submitted in good faith.
Accuracy and Good Faith
Users should provide information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge. Do not knowingly submit false, fabricated, deceptive, or materially misleading content, including false vehicle claims, ownership claims, event participation, awards, specifications, locations, dates, or other historical information.
Historical information may be incomplete or disputed. Where appropriate, users should provide references or enough context to help others understand the basis for an entry.
Rights and Ownership of Content
You may only upload media or other copyrighted content that you own or have permission to use and share through Auto Lineage. Do not upload copyrighted images, videos, documents, screenshots, or other materials unless you have the necessary rights or permission from the rights holder.
By uploading content, you confirm that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and to allow Auto Lineage to use it as described in the Terms of Service.
Giving credit to a photographer, creator, publication, social media account, auction house, organization, or other source does not by itself establish permission to upload or use their copyrighted content.
References to Third-Party Sources
Factual vehicle history may be documented using reference links to relevant third-party sources such as public social media posts, auction listings, event pages, publications, registries, or other records.
When you do not have permission to upload third-party media, use a reference link to the original source where appropriate rather than copying and re-uploading the media to Auto Lineage.
A reference link documents a source and does not imply that the source, creator, owner, organization, or website endorses or is affiliated with Auto Lineage.
Public and Personal Information
Vehicle records and Lineage entries may be publicly visible. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary to documenting a vehicle's history or that should not reasonably be associated with a public vehicle record.
Do not use Auto Lineage to expose private addresses, account credentials, financial information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information about another person.
Prohibited Content
The following content is not permitted on Auto Lineage:
Event and Organizer Content
Organizers are responsible for ensuring that event descriptions, registration requirements, sponsor information, classes, awards, schedules, pricing, policies, and communications are accurate and not misleading.
Event content must not falsely imply sponsorship, affiliation, sanctioning, endorsement, or participation by a person, organization, manufacturer, venue, or other third party.
Moderation and Enforcement
Auto Lineage may review, hide, remove, restrict, or preserve content that violates this Content Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable law, or otherwise undermines the integrity of the platform or a vehicle record.
Auto Lineage may also limit, suspend, or terminate accounts associated with repeated or serious violations, including repeated infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.
Reporting Concerns
If you believe content on the platform is inaccurate, infringing, abusive, misleading, or otherwise violates this policy, please contact hello@autolineage.com.
Please identify the vehicle, Lineage entry, event, media, or other content involved and provide enough information for Auto Lineage to evaluate the concern.
Policy Updates
Auto Lineage may update this Content Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the "Last updated" date when changes are made. Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
