Found in Los Angeles, this orange car showed years of neglect, with heavily oxidized paint and visible rust. The interior was badly worn with a torn front seat and damaged carpet, and the engine, transmission, rear end, and electrical system all needed extensive rebuilding.

Chassis 003 was inducted into the Bloomington Gold Hall of Fame, becoming one of the early Corvettes to receive the honor. Exact date is unknown.

Instead of being exported to the Middle East, the car remained in UK storage before returning to the Bugatti factory in Campogalliano, Italy, where early mechanical issues were resolved by factory technicians. It was then shipped to the United States.

This car was originally ordered to Saudi Arabian specifications.

In Japan, collector Koji Aoyama repainted this factory-red F40 into Argento Nürburgring. He also added the Le Mans body kit, replacing the pop-up headlights with fixed aerodynamic pods. The car then starred in his legendary all-silver garage alongside a matching Enzo and F50.

In the early 1990’s this car was sold out of Saudi Arabia and exported to Tokyo, Japan. It was instantly acquired by eccentric billionaire Koji Aoyama, who held onto the vehicle for roughly three decades.

This car came off the assembly line in standard factory Rosso Corsa paint over red cloth bucket seats. It was instantly shipped to its first destination in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, For roughly two years, this car remained strictly under the ownership of the Zahid royal family collection.

After 14 years with Robert Paterson, chassis 003 was sold to Tom Armstrong, beginning another important period of preservation and recognition. Exact dates and location are unknown.

I rear ended a small pickup and bent the nose of the hood and head light buckets. Didn’t even break the headlights. So, I thought I’d sand down the car and get it repainted in a few months. Well, life decided otherwise. I became a father and it took 28 years before I could afford a paint job.

A former owner is hoping to reconnect with this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, a V8-designated two-door Sport Coupe assembled in Kansas City. The car was sold around 2016 and was last known to have gone to Tennessee. Future lineage updates may help document where it is today.

A former owner shared this Georgia registration while searching for the vehicle. It documents the purchase of this white 1979 Pontiac Trans Am on January 16, 1985. He later sold it while serving in the military and hopes to learn what happened to it.

In 1984 I bought all the parts to rebuild my engine from the Machine Shop I was going to have do the rebuild. Every week I would buy something. Then I decided to put a Borg-Warner T-10 4 Speed in it. McLoad clutch and scatter shield and Hurst shifter. It took a year but I learned a lot.

I wanted to put American Racing Torque Thrust Originals. But, A/R no longer made them at that time. So, I had to settle for A/R 200S’s 14x7’s with 235/60/14’s all four corners. And Air Shocks to get the right height.

Robert Paterson acquired chassis 003 and commissioned a restoration of its body. The car was returned to its famous Mecom Racing blue Nassau livery. Exact dates unknown.

Chassis 003 passed to Alan Foster of Palo Alto. Foster made mechanical improvements, particularly to the braking system, and displayed the Grand Sport at the 1969 Western States Corvette Convention before placing it into long-term storage. Exact dates are unknown.

Original window sticker and purchase order document this Camaro’s December 1967 sale through Bliss & Paden in Los Angeles. Factory equipment included the 396-cubic-inch 325-hp V8, M40 automatic, U17 gauges, power front disc brakes, black vinyl roof, and Island Teal paint.

Chassis 003 left John Mecom's ownership and was acquired by 19-year-old Texas enthusiast Alan Sevadjian. His father, Ed Sevadjian, handled driving duties while Delmo Johnson prepared the car for its next racing campaign. Exact dates and location are unknown.

Chassis 003 returned to Nassau with the Mecom Racing Team for another Bahamas Speed Week campaign. Jack Saunders drove the car during the 1964 events, including the Tourist Trophy, where 003 recorded another podium class result. Exact dates are unknown.
