This F40 underwent a meticulous out-of-pocket restoration to fix the severe left-side damage caused by a semi-truck hit-and-run. Technicians carefully repaired the structural alignment, completely reassembled the body panels, and applied a fresh coat of silver paint.

Modifications
In Japan, collector Koji Aoyama repainted this factory-red F40 into Argento Nürburgring. He also added the Le Mans body kit, replacing the pop-up headlights with fixed aerodynamic pods. The car then starred in his legendary all-silver garage alongside a matching Enzo and F50.
