Moved back to U.K.
The UK-based "Gran Turismo Collection" took ownership and moved the car from Switzerland to London. Because it sat without moving for 7 years, it was sent straight to the factory authorized specialists at H.R. Owen Bugatti in London. Fuel tanks, updated fuel lines and new tires were fitted.

From April 2005 to November 2012, this chassis was held in static preservation storage by a private Swiss collector. The car was rarely driven during these 91 months, remaining hidden from public view.

UK Storage
Instead of being exported to the Middle East, the car remained in UK storage before returning to the Bugatti factory in Campogalliano, Italy, where early mechanical issues were resolved by factory technicians. It was then shipped to the United States.
